Base fee:
  • Base Tournament charge includes 2 rounds of 18 hole tournament golf, Saturday Night Banquet and tournament fee. Hotel, Food and Practice Rounds added as a la carte items.

New for 30th Anniversary

  • Going back to Pala Mesa Resort – where it all started. Home of Chuck C.’s “New Pair of Glasses” talk.
  • New A La Carte pricing. Pick the base golf package and then add hotel, food, and practice rounds as you like to fit within your budget.
  • Team Tournament Formats – We will be creating some fun team formats so that even if you are not a part of PG Golf Club, you can still have a lot of fun and won’t feel left out.

Tournament Costs

Base Package - $225 (includes Two Rounds of Golf Friday and Saturday morning, Saturday Night Banquet and tournament fee)

Hotel Options

We have blocked out rooms at Pala Mesa Resort. A 2 night minimum is required. You can come down as early as Wednesday night. The rates are pretty good for the area. If you don’t need a hotel room or only need Saturday Night, there are plenty of hotels in nearby Temecula or Fallbrook. For a list of local hotels, click here 

  • Wed – Sat Night (4 Nights) Double Occ - $305, Single or Golfer/Non- Golfer - $610
  • Thu – Sat Night (3 Nights) Double Occ - $235, Single or Golfer/Non- Golfer - $475
  • Fri – Sat Night (3 Nights) Double Occ - $170, Single or Golfer/Non- Golfer - $340

Check-in time begins at 4pm. Early check-ins are possible based on availability. Check-out is 12pm. Late check-outs may be possible based on availability. If you need special arrangements, please talk to us asap.

Food

This year, we are cutting down on the number of required food events included with the package. We have eliminated the Friday Dinner (moving the BBQ to Sat) and we are not including a Breakfast Buffet on Saturday morning since our Tournament Round that day is off-site at Redhawk. Prices listed below are per person. If bringing a guest, you can select the quantity on the entry form.

  • Sunday Lunch (at closing ceremonies) - $33

Golf

This year, golf is on your own for Friday. We have secured discounted rates at Pala Mesa and Redhawk. Just call the course as we get closer to book your time. There is also a coupon available for Journey at Pechanga that includes $20 in casino play and a $59 voucher to return and play again. PG Golf Club Championship

The Pacific Group Golf Club Champion will be determined by low net score. As club champion, you will represent the Pacific Group Golf Club in the SCGA Tournament of Club Champions, where you will compete with other club champions throughout Southern California.  The Club Champion will receive the Wallien Trophy and Buddy Trophy (Senior Flight). We also have a Low Gross Champion, and you will received the Low Gross Perpetual Trophy and also represent Pacific Group in the Tournament of Club Champions.

Senior Club Championship

For those golfers 55 and older as of August 11th 2018, you will be playing in the Senior Flight for the Pacific Group Golf Club Champion, also known as the Buddy Flight. As club champion, you will represent the Pacific Group Golf Club in the SCGA Tournament of Club Champions Senior Flight, where you will compete with other club champions throughout Southern California. We also have a Low Senior Gross Flight winner, and you will receive the Low Gross Senior Perpetual Trophy and also represent Pacific Group in the Tournament of Club Champions.

Team Championship

In the first 15 years of the tournament, we had a Sunday Scramble where we handed our trophies and it was a lot of fun. We wanted to bring back some of that team comradery, but do it in a new way where you can play your own ball but still be part of the team. We have not finalized on the specific contest yet, but we plan on having a new team perpetual trophy that you can share with your teammates and bring back each year. More to come.

Awards

Awards will be given for 1st place in each flight for both low net and low gross scores, as well as team champions. We will also be offering a $20 Buy-In for Closest to the Pin Contest for all Par 3’s on both days, and a $20 blind skins contest. So bring some cash.

Payments

$175 Deposit Due Now!

To secure your spot and a hotel room, we need your $175 deposit immediately. This holds a room for you and ensures the hotel has availability (as a few of you stragglers discovered last year). Of course, if you would like to pay in full now, that is fine too. To pay your $175 deposit, you can register now and just choose the $175 base fee without food and hotel options and pay online via credit card. You can also pay by cash or check. As we get closer to the event, we can finalize your hotel, food and golf options, and pay your balance accordingly.

Full Payment Due July 30th

You must pay your package in full by July 30th. We do not want to accept cash or checks at the event. We have multiple ways to pay for this event, so there should be no reason for you not to pay in full by this time.
